Essential items before beginning your studies

You can get this text book from our library at Sutton Coldfield Campus. It is a great resource for the general themes, issues and ideas you will be dealing with on the course. Buy a copy if you can.

Also, it is useful to watch a few 'classic' films before you begin the course. Here are a few suggestions;

Citizen Kane (Wells, 1942)

North By North West (Hitchcock, 1959)

The Godfather (Coppola, 1972)

Pulp Fiction (Tarantino, 1994)

Seven (Fincher, 1995)

These are just suggestions, but you can find a comprehensive list in the text book above, on page 20 of the second edition of the book.
